Explore Eden’s Library of Blogs About the Bible.
“Is this Bible easy to read?”
“What do all those three-letter names mean?”
“Is this Bible accurate?”
“Is this Bible right for me?”
When it comes to choosing which Bible to buy, there are enough questions to fill...well...a Bible.
Not only do many of the translations get shortened down to a series of enigmatic three-letter abbreviations, but each one has its own unique set of extras and features built into the text.
Choosing the right Bible is like finding a needle in a stack of other, very similar needles.
But we know first-hand how special and life-changing it is to find the right Bible for you - a Bible whose text speaks directly to you, whose size fits perfectly into your life, and whose features help open up the rich meaning of God’s word.
Our first season of guides will explore the major English language translations that are available today. Where they come from, how they were translated, and how easy they are to read.
Then the second season of guides will look at the different types of Bible available. This will include Study Bibles, Chronological Bibles, Life Application Bibles, Journaling Bibles and more.
Finally, we’ll look at the nitty-gritty of Bible features. This will include Red Letter editions, Indexes, Cross-References, Profiles and, most importantly, Print Sizes.
We’ll list all of the blogs here, as and when are released, so you can easily find what you’re looking for.
