The activities of A Rocha Trust were transferred to A Rocha International (charity 1136041) on 1st July 2010 and A Rocha Trust (charity 288634) became dormant from that date.

Christian Conservation Organisation

The objects of ATL are to promote the Christian Religion, to contribute to the funds of any charitable institutions, associations, funds or objects and to carry out any charitable purpose.

We are a large number of individual Christians from countries all around the world, who are friends and supporters of the Dohnavur Fellowship in South India, and the work they are doing to care for the needs of poor and vulnerable people. The Dohnavur Fellowship works towards holistic development, running projects across the areas of Child Development, Education, Health and Social Care, Community Development, Eco-farming and Nature conservation. All of this is with the express goal of serving the most vulnerable and marginalised people in South India. Founded originally in 1901 by Amy Carmichael (fondly known as ‘Amma’) as a home for rescued children, the good work continues today as a wholly independently-run Indian Christian organisation comprising many descendents of the Fellowship who grew up and chose to dedicate their lives to sharing the love of Jesus Christ with others in need.

Our vision is to see communities and their elected representatives across the UK come together to take decisive action on climate change.

The Fund was set up to support the conservation of Georgian monuments.
