Left to Their Own Devices? Bristol

Hosted by
We believe every family should have somewhere to turn to be strengthened in the good times, and for support when challenges come. Each family is unique and whatever circumstances or situations you are facing, we want to be able to come alongside you on your journey. By focusing on three areas of family life – marriage, parenting and bereavement – we are able to create resources and support that is preventative, evidence-based and easy to apply practically. We offer that support through online and in-person events, courses, training, befrienders, books and other resources. We’re here for you and those you love – because family life matters.
About this event
Tech-savvy kids and how to raise them If you’re fed up with seeing the back of a screen more than your child’s face or feel every conversation you have about tech is a battle, then this event is for you. Our kids are facing a whole new level of complexity as they grow up in a turbulent digital world. Bullying, disinformation, the rise of AI and VR… these are just some of the issues our children are facing online. The last thing we want to do is scare parents, but we don’t want to shy away from the problems either. This event will equip parents and carers with practical skills and knowledge to stay ahead of the curve and help your children navigate the online world safely and to their advantage.
