We believe every family should have somewhere to turn to be strengthened in the good times, and for support when challenges come. Each family is unique and whatever circumstances or situations you are facing, we want to be able to come alongside you on your journey. By focusing on three areas of family life – marriage, parenting and bereavement – we are able to create resources and support that is preventative, evidence-based and easy to apply practically. We offer that support through online and in-person events, courses, training, befrienders, books and other resources. We’re here for you and those you love – because family life matters.

About this event

Drifting apart is one of the biggest reasons why many couples decide to call it quits. But there are simple ways to prioritise each other and stop just going through the motions. Going the Distance is a practical, down-to-earth evening for couples - a rare chance to stop, take stock and invest in your relationship. With genuine honesty and plenty of humour, Philip Jinadu and Cathy Madavan will share practical ideas of how to communicate well, deepen connection and intentionally set the course for your relationship. This event will help you spot warning signs, avoid roadblocks and continue your journey together, for a vibrant and lasting marriage. Whether you’ve been together for years or are just starting out; if your seven-year itch is lasting longer than you hoped, or you’re in a permanent state of matrimonial bliss, we believe this event will help you in the now, and over the long haul.
