For many their burdens are heavy. A great deal of people feel worn out. Inside people are screaming, "Give me a break", I need rest. The good news is God gave us a speacial day to rest. It is called the Sabbath. He knew we fall apart if we don't rest. Those who work without taking a day's break can encounter physicl exhaustion and breakdow. But He also wants the time set aside to get to know Him deeper than the often rushed time we spend with Him during the week. Sabbath is also a form of worship. It provides a visible testimony that God is at the center of life. Further Sabbath rest comes down to an act of trust. To observe it, we must dare to trust God to provide for our needs, rather than working all-out to provide for them ourselves.
