Georg Vicedom gives a whole new slant and dimension to Christianity. Everything in the Scriptures takes on a missionary character, a dynamic of movement. Church, Bible, Baptism, Holy Communion, education, parish life - all are viewed as part of God's burning desire to make all people His own.

The book leaves no room for the wooden or static idea of truth for its own sake or doctrine for domination over others. It is the fire of Pentecost in printed words to impress the reader with a sense of urgency.
