If a person is able to give in the direction of the Lord's will, he will be blessed. If however, he gives outside the Lord's will, his giving may lead him to acquire curses or lose the gifts he is in possession of from the Lord. Giving is a virtue that many people in the church practise without knowledge or understanding of what the Lord's will is concerning giving. This ignorance has led many to be trapped in the schemes of the enemy. However, the Lord has purposed that people understand His will concerning giving so that they can be able to be blessed and draw closer to God.
