Product Description
There are poems about Life, Love, and Listening to Music directly listed in such "movements" in the collection. Although there is not a poem or movement titled, The Elephant in the Room (death), the idea surfaces in many ways in the poems of several movements. For example, in the movement Life and Death, there is the poem, "Life" that treats both life and death. There are other examples of "the Elephant" throughout different movements, but specifically in the "Estella Poems." In the movement "Love," two poems handle this idea: "The Kiss of Sea Green Birds" and "Touch." The poem "Autumn" in the movement "Listening to Music, Beholding Art" is full of such references in listening to Richard Strauss' music. The collection title themes are available throughout the collection. It is for the reader to find them if so desired.
