There are so many features of light that permeate every aspect of our experience. God's love and comfort infuse the earth with a sparkle of the divine that lingers close by, ready to illuminate our path. During the season of Advent we are given a chance to more fully open our eyes to how God is working in our lives. God longs to walk beside us, enlighten us, and support the growth of who He created us to be. Like a vine reaching towards the sunlight, we can also reach towards this miraculous moment of the season...the moment where a star sparkles in the night and leads us to the true light of the world.
