James Walsh is a Catholic layman. He is a licensed pastoral counsellor working in private practice in Newark, Delaware, USA. He is also Assistant Professor of Community Counselling at Wilmington University, where he teaches on a variety of topics, including Psychopathology and Addiction, and provides supervision of clinical interns. He has been working to help compulsive gamblers and their families for over ten years as a national certified gambling counsellor, and has published research on gambling and spirituality.
