Pearls of Wisdom is a contribution towards helping the reader deal with the problems and situations they encounter on a daily basis. After four decades of dealing with different classes of
people at all levels, I have come away with the conviction that most problems people face are wisdom problems. From my role and position as husband, father, senior family member, church elder, preacher, teacher and player in the corporate set-up since 1975, I have seen many getting liberated from what looked like seemingly 'impossible' obstacles and
situations through the application of wisdom principles. It comes as no wonder that the Preacher refers to wisdom in the Book of Proverbs in the Bible as the principal thing, something one should get, whatever it entails. I can testify to the fact that the application of wisdom principles has led to open doors and created opportunities for those who hitherto thought they had come to the end of the tether. There are timeless lessons to be learned from the examples and teachings of some people who adopted and advised the right approaches to situations. This book takes us on a walk through some fundamental principles or 'pearls' which will set the reader on the path to becoming wiser and becoming fulfilled and contented. It is a process starting with knowing what is inside the mind of a winner, through the need to take deliberate steps, to keeping your perspectives right and watching your choices. Finally some gems from the life of the legendary investor, Sir John Templeton who, in his lifetime, was described by Billy Graham as 'truly a legend in our time' are shared. I invite you to come along with me as we digest the pearls of wisdom contained in this book. There is one thing I am sure of, and it is that you will become a better person by applying the principles here.
