What is the meaning of a life well-lived? In the course of my lifetime of more than the biblical three score and ten, for which I am very thankful to God, I have encountered different perspectives on the question I just asked. The insights I have come across have been varied, ranging from amassing wealth and rising to positions of power and authority to having a positive influence on people's lives. Having had the privilege of studying the lives of a number of people, some of whom are still living, I have come to the firm conclusion that the only way to leave a lasting legacy is to live in such a way as to impact lives for good. In the process, the properties, monies and other trappings of power you may have acquired will mean nothing if they don't have a positive influence on others.

In essence then, your outlook on life has to be motivated by a desire, whether intentional or unconsciously, to get those in your sphere of influence to become better people. They should be liberated from oppressive states of mind or situations because their paths crossed with yours or they got to know and learn of you and your directive principles of life.

There is a lot that you and I can learn from the stories, principles and examples shared in this book. I invite you to pay close attention to the stories in the pages of this book and it will dawn on you that you too can become an Investor in the real sense, with a legacy that will last for generations.
