Eren has always been told she runs for the Halevi.

Raised among worship and prayer, she is formed from childhood in the ancient work of the Temple. The Halevi are intercessors, standing between the Whisper and the people, whose prayers carry weight and shape the course of the land. Her grandfather Malachi, High Priest of the tribe, prophesies that she will one day walk with kings, and teaches her the ways of priests and kings alike - assuring her that no cost she pays will ever be greater than its reward.

When betrayal arises, the Halevi are cast into exile, their sacred life torn away. Yet what the Whisper has spoken does not change. And even as the cost of running grows heavy and the path forward grows harder to see, Eren clings to the promise that He will accomplish what He has declared. He calls her still - to worship, to intercede, and to run.
