The story of Daniel is one of the best-known stories from the Old Testament that is often misunderstood. The author wants the reader to picture the life of Daniel, wise advisor to the kings. This book is taking the book of Daniel as a literal story and trying to put together the life of the man who lived to be very old. Though much of the story is fiction it follows the story as it is given in the Bible as well as drawing from archeological information and the author's own imagination, weaving a tale of the prophet who served under six kings while in exile. Travel back in history and read the tale of Daniel and his friends, Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-nego, facing the lions, as they navigate life within the pagan Babylonian kingdom. The author hopes that one might discover things about Daniel that they did not know before.
