The story of Daniel is one of the best-known stories from the Old Testament that is often misunderstood. The author wants the reader to picture the life of Daniel, wise advisor to the kings. This book is taking the book of Daniel as a literal story and trying to put together the life of the man who lived to be very old. The author hopes that one might discover things about Daniel that they did not know before. Daniel was not a fairy tale, a figment of fiction, but an historical man, and this is a biblically based story of his life.
