The Kingdom of Light is a peaceful kingdom. The people are prosperous, hard-working, and overall happy. However, around the city is a magical fence. The people are forbidden to go over the fence, and are told that the land beyond that looks exciting is merely a land of illusion that will destroy them.Micah is a talented violinist, but when his brother goes over the fence, he gives up his easy life to become a Seeker. Seekers are those who go beyond the fence to help those who are lost or fallen come back to the City of Light.Seekers go out in pairs. Micah is assigned to be the warrior, and his companion, Ariel, is assigned to be his guide. Together they adventure into the Outerworld, where they find it is far worse than anything they ever expected.
