The human life is filled with disappointments and failures, and often times the things that hurt us the most are done out of our control. Because of sin, our existence would be hopeless and forlorn if it was not for a Saviour who wants to redeem us from our condition. The Broken Down Shack is a story of redemption that allegorizes the struggle every person experiences in their walk through life. The shack is redeemed from it's deteriorated condition by a kind woman who sees its potential rather than its current state. Originally conceived in the mind of the author as a child, it has been finally reimagined as an adult and written for children. It is illustrated by two of the author's own children.
