This is the story of St Julie Billiart's life. She was a woman who, despite great suffering, never once doubted God's goodness to her and she often com­pared her darkest nights to a journey she made through the thick fog on the River Somme.

Her favourite expression was 'Oh, how good God is', which became the motto of the Sisters of Notre Dame.

Each chapter of In Spite of Fog is illustrated in colour and looks at a particular part of St Julie's life, then provides a prayer, a gospel reflection and a Psalm.
