FORTY YEARS AGO, WHILE in Bible College, a professor recommended daily reading from the book of Proverbs. He mentioned that there are thirty-one proverbs, so if you can remember the day, you will never get lost in which chapter you should read. When I began reading Proverbs each day, during good times and bad, I became aware of their crucial role in my life. Proverbs began to enlighten and inspire me to write down what God was teaching and saying, and to implement it in my life.
