Meditations in the Garden explores the story of Adam and Eve and the account of creation.
There are six sessions, each concentrating on a different aspect of the story: Gods creation; freedom of choice; facing temptation; the reality of sin; consequences; a second chance.
A summary forms a personal and collective response to the previous six sessions and is done partly as homework and partly as a seventh session with a social focus.
Group participation is encouraged in a number of ways, including discussion, researching background knowledge and prayer.
The material is imaginative, sometimes humorous, but also scripturally based and challenging, encouraging each member of the group to seek prayerfully what God is saying to them through scripture.
