Ephesians contains three sections that can be summarized by the three words "Sit," "Walk" and "Stand" -- words that reflect the truths of our spiritual lives. We are sitting in the heavenly places with Christ, we are walking worthy of that exalted position and we are standing firm against the wiles of the devil. It is said that we cannot worship what we do not love and we cannot love what we do not know. Paul used this letter to teach profound and sublime truths of God and what He has done on our behalf. He then instructed the church how to live on earth as members of God's family.
