The Celtic HeartJohn Irvine, via The Good Book Stall
This new book by Pat Robson is an examination in prayers, poems and meditations of the Celtic tradition. It starts with an account of the beginnings and development of Celtic Christianity and looks at a number of saints who have contributed to its growth, some well known like Cuthbert, Columba and Patrick, others lesser known like Petroc, Leven and Hilda. After a brief account of their lives and the legends and stories associated with them, Pat Robson adds poems and prayers, both traditional and modern, connected with the saints and inspired by their lives and writings. This is a little book with a big heart, great for dipping into and always inspiring.
