Our level 3 course builds on the previous two levels of training, where basic knowledge of domestic abuse and insights into the links between faith and domestic abuse have been explored, to prepare people in churches and faith-based organisations to walk alongside victims/survivors on their road to recovery. You will learn: 1. An introduction to the concept of trauma and how this should inform our response to victims/survivors. 2. How, as a church, you can provide holistic support 3. How to engage with local domestic abuse services 4. Key principles to consider when engaging with an abuser

We're passionate about helping churches feel confident in responding to disclosures of domestic abuse in safe and effective ways. Our level 1 course will help you explore key questions around the issue of domestic abuse. The series will start you on the journey of understanding domestic abuse, how you can spot the signs and how best to respond.

Restored is building a network of churches standing together against domestic abuse and supporting survivors. We call these churches Restored Beacons: Churches whose light guides survivors home to safety. A beacon that calls the people of God to stand together to fix that which is broken in their communities and live out a different way. Come along to this free webinar to find out more about how your church can partner with Restored to stand against domestic abuse and support survivors, by joining our Restored Beacon Network. There's no obligation to sign up at this stage, and anyone is welcome to join.
