Working to Open Eyes and Free Lives from the damaging impact of Porn.

Date: Monday 27th April 2026 Time: 9:30 AM – 4:00 PM (Tea/ coffee and registration at 9:30 AM; sessions begin at 10:00 AM) Venue: T3 Conference & Event Centre Tickets: £10 (lunch included) Why Attend? Pornography is one of the most pressing yet often unspoken issues facing churches today. While 75% of pastors report ministering to those struggling with pornography, only 10% have programs to address it (Barna, 2024). Behind these statistics are countless lives affected by addiction, betrayal, and relational trauma. The P-Word Conference equips church leaders with the knowledge and tools to address this challenge within their congregations and communities. Hosted by the Naked Truth Project, this event focuses on education, recovery, and practical support for real and lasting change. What You'll Gain: Insights into the physical, emotional, and spiritual impacts of pornography Practical steps for recovery and healing Tools to support spouses and families Strategies for fostering open dialogue in your church Since its launch in 2013, the Naked Truth Project has reached over 1,000 leaders in seven cities with these vital resources. Featured Speaker: Ian Henderson, founder of Naked Truth Project, will share his expertise, compassion, and actionable strategies to help leaders address this critical issue with hope and confidence. Ian will be joined by Cat Etherington, our Director of Recovery and a therapist, coach and trainer with over 15 years’ experience working with pornography use, compulsive sexual behaviours, and relational betrayal. Be Part of the Change It’s time for the Church to lead with hope, healing, and restoration. Don’t miss this opportunity to equip yourself and your team to break the silence and bring freedom. This training is intentionally positioned as a foundational CPD day, not a specialist diploma. It aims to: - Build confidence, awareness, and ethical sensitivity around pornography and sex addiction in general practice settings. - Offer a strong base for those who may later pursue multi‑day diplomas or accredited specialist programmes in this field. Participants can expect a trauma‑informed, non‑shaming learning environment that invites self‑reflection on personal values, biases, and assumptions, fostering clearer, more compassionate therapeutic responses. Participants will explore: - Psychological, relational, and neurological dimensions of compulsive sexual behaviours and pornography use. - The impact of problematic porn use and sexual compulsivity on partners, families, and relationships. - Assessment considerations, risk awareness, and when/how to refer on for specialist help. The day blends teaching input, reflective practice, and applied discussion so that learning connects directly with participants’ real‑world client work

The internet has changed the landscape of childhood & adolescence. Porn has never been more accessible, affordable, anonymous or addictive. We believe you can not only be having important discussions about this issue, but feel confident, informed, and equipped for them. Like the key on a map, our PG workshop will equip you with the information to better understand the digital landscape in front of you and confidently guide your children through it. We’re working to see 100% of parents talking to their kids about porn!
