Homelessness Support

The 700 Club is a frontline homelessness and housing charity seeking to move people from dependence to independence. It offers supported Hostel Accommodation for individuals and couples in three hostels, housing related Floating Support for those (over 16) with substance misuse issues, assists people into private sector housing and is a Registered Provider of social housing.

Services to tackle homelessness; ensure that those in need have access to the right support and, where appropriate, the right long-term care; provision of, or help to access, appropriate skills training and employment advice to enable service users to engage in paid or voluntary work.

ACT!'s primary aim is providing relief to people in need, in particular offenders, ex-offenders, the homeless, asylum seekers and people suffering from addiction or mental illness.

Provision of homelessness and threat of homelessness support and activities for young people age 16-25 based in Coventry City Centre. Betel of Britain is a group of caring, not-for-profit Christian communities helping broken people to regain control of their health, work potential and independence.We provide accommodation free of addictive substances where people facing life-disrupting problems can regain control of their lives, in particular, through work experience in a caring family atmosphere.

We provide food, warmth, shelter and friendship to the homeless and lonely of Birmingham during the Christmas period, regardless of gender, colour, race, religion or sexual orientation.

This Charity (258209) is redundant, having been replaced by Birmingham City Mission (1051023) when the Charity was incorporated as a Company Limited By Guarantee in 1995. The final transfer of properties from the old to the new Charity is still awaited.

Provide safe, secure supported accommodation for homeless males aged 18 and over. The Trust, founded in 1995 is committed to inclusion & operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The Chilli Children Trust is a small, Christian charity set up to help orphaned and disabled children in rural Uganda by channeling donations from the UK and Ireland to the North Kigezi Diocese Growers, Orphans and Disabled Children's Project based in Rukungiri. The Project encompasses both a chilli growing programme, and a community based programme for disabled and chronically sick children.

Hostel for homeless women

Core work is in supporting families, providing care in our pre-school nursery for children aged 0 -5 and a Bed sit scheme for young mothers. Wallis bedsits are for young mothers (16-22 yrs) who lack parental support or require additional help through a difficult period in their lives. Beracah bedsits provides accomodation for those with lower support needs.

Christians In Action operates in two main ways. In the the church in London we work with children, youth and adults to help them to become mature human beings who can be of service to God and to the community.We also forward support to workers, mainly overseas and funds for projects such as orphanages and a day care centre for children as well as a home for the elderly.

Provision of relief from homelessness

To provide supported housing for vulnerable single young people between the ages of 18-29, predominantly young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness, with support tailored to each individual so that they can develop independent living skills that will enable them to belong, contribute and thrive when they move on to living independently.

The College of St. Barnabas was established in 1895 to provide retirement homes for Anglican Clergy, Church Workers, Readers licensed by a Bishop and their wives and widows. In 2005 those in communion with Church of England are included. There is also a care wing for those requiring care and medical support. The full objectives of the Charity can be found in the Memorandum of Association.

In UKWe serve homeless, older people and anyone who is struggling in London, to share food and friendship.We organise a Christmas eve dinner for the homeless and the elderly every year.OverseasWe collaborate with Community of S. Egidio International to develop programs in Sub-saharan Africa, in the field of health, education, and nutrition.

The Trust currently works in the city of Lubumbashi and the the three main activity areas are: To set-up and run "Centre Kimbilio" as a centre offering education, skills training and basic welfare for street children in association with the Anglican church.To create longer term residential accommodation for street children.To work with others to prevent children ending up on the streets.

Provision of temporary accomadation and services for those who are homless and at risk of homelessness through a nighthshelter and supported Housing

We help people who experience enduring mental health difficulties. Accommodation is available for up to 40 people mainly through our registered care home, hostel & independent living flats in Tunbridge Wells.We offer person-centred care and our residents are encouraged through their support workers to take responsibility for their own lives with a view to moving back into the local community.

Promotion of the holy rosary as a means to bring peace and personal comfort to suffering people. Correspondence maintained supporting prisoners, the sick, the fearful. Shipments of donated aid and church items to assist diocesan schools and hospitals in the third world. Support of local homeless has increased to help with increased numbers.

The relief of poverty, hardship and distress among homeless persons residing temporarily or permanently within Croydon or surrounding areas by the provision of shelter, food, clothing, support and advice or by such other charitable means as the directors shall from time to time determine.

The charity distributes grants to the poor and needy within the area postcode CT10. The grants are made where there is no other source of money available, i.e. grants are not made in place of benefits, etc. Income is from the letting of land and the receipt of dividends from our investments.

Derby City Mission runs a number of different social action projects, alongside work to promote unity in the city.

Divine Rescue provide help & support for the homeless, people in crisis & other vulnerable persons such as ex-offenders, sex workers & those with current personal crisis. Where we can help people beyond their crisis, we support their recovery & help them move on with their lives. Due to Lockdown our services and activities had reduced due to lost of income. But our support continues.

ECWNS coordinates a roving shelter providing homeless adults with food and a night's sleep in church premises in the London Borough of Ealing during the winter months. Homeless guests are referred by local outreach agencies. The coordination includes helping to recruit and train volunteers, ensuring safe operation and best practice and day-to-day liaison with referral agencies.

El Shaddai provides care for vulnerable children living in Goa India. This is achieved through its 6 Residential Homes for younger children, Independent/Semi Independent Accommodation for teenagers, 5 Night Shelters/Daycare centres providing drop in facilities, Educational & Training Projects, Feeding programmes and support for project partners operating similar projects in other states in India.

We take homeless people off the streets who have been assessed and referred by key workers and are committed and motivated to the challenge of getting back on track. We provide them with a room in a shared property and help them to find a job, save funds and find permanent accommodation, with aftercare. We provide them with physical, mental and spiritual care with a Christian faith-based focus.

Provision of accomodation, daily support and meaningful work experience in our own social enterprises for up to 27 men and women that have previously experienced homelessness.

Emmaus Hampshire is an independent homelessness and social enterprise charity offering community life and meaningful work to previously homeless people.

To run and maintain the Emmaus community in Merseyside which provides a home and work and a community for formerly homeless people.

The Emmaus Norwich community offers a home and meaningful work to 25 men and women, many of whom have been homeless. Emmaus Norwich is a social enterprise and everyone living in the community signs off benefits to work within their ability in the community's charitable business.

Emmaus South Lambeth Community operates three Emmaus residential Communities in Norwood, South London. Emmaus Communities offer homeless people a home, work and the chance to rebuild their lives in a supportive environment. Work is provided in the Community shops and warehouse which sell donated goods.
