RELIGIOUS

Part of the Diocese of Ely, we are a network that supports Christians through friendship, prayer, study and action. We have regular small group meetings, occasional diocese-wide events and one/two (per year) residential retreat weekends. We are affiliated to the British Anglican Cursillo Council.

We run Projects for the less privileged children both in Africa & here in UK to support poor children that are at risk of growing up to become poor adults and these activities can include those that will benefit the children's families. Other programs include a regular weekly and Sunday meetings where members of the community come together to fellowship & worship God.

The Friends supports the work of Elsie Briggs House, an ecumenial house of prayer, and provides accommodation for the resident Warden.

Friends of Kelling Church is dedicated to preserving and enhancing the beautiful Kelling Church, reflecting the love and teachings of Christ through its activities. With a clear Christian foundation and focus on religious activities, they aim to serve the local community while fostering a spirit of fellowship and worship. The charity's efforts in maintaining the church serve as a testament to their commitment to the Christian faith, aiming to engage and inspire others to participate in the life of the church. We aim to further the Christian faith in England. In particular, providing a camp site for camps, and similar activities, for bible teaching, fellowship, and worship in furtherance of the Christian faith among all age groups; and as an outdoor learning environment for use by educational establishments in England to learn about the existence of a creator God.


Two conferences are held each year to bring together leaders of churches and ministries linked to the charity for teaching, fellowship and mutual support. Trustees visit churches throughout the UK and Europe to support and encourage the leadership.

Church services on a Sunday afternoon at 4pm involving around 60 adults and 40 children and young people. Mid-week children's and adult's activities also held.

1) To provide a holiday camp for boys and girls in continuation of the work of Sunday Schools and other similar Christian youth work and so to provide a holiday for persons under a Christian atmosphere. 2) To indicate by the use of the premises the need of surrendering ones life to the Lord Jesus Christ. 3) To provide facilities for Christian conferences.

Holland House is a Christian Centre with a beautiful chapel. It provides residential accommodation with excellent food and facilities, for courses and retreats for groups or individuals. It strongly supports and welcomes Interfaith Groups, Charitable Groups, schools (eg headteachers forums), Wellbeing in the form yoga, mediation, spiritual direction, and music and art groups.

Hold fellowship with Christians in songs, prayers and sharing of bible passages. We do visit Hospices, Hospitals and Cares Home to carry out services. We do provide financial supports to other charities and help to expand support base of our chosen charities in our annual event

Grants made by the Trust help fund the religious purposes of St. Andrew's Church, Bedford, the provision of its community centre and the advisory service provided to people in financial difficulties, in accordance with the guidance issued by the Charity Commission on public benefit
