AtaLoss was established as a bereavement charity in 2016, to ensure that no one in the UK should be left without support when someone dies. Our mission is to change the culture of bereavement, so that every bereaved person can have timely and holistic support, to navigate their grief and changed circumstances for healthy outcomes.

Befriended provides a range of services aimed at combating loneliness and isolation amongst older people living in Mid Sussex. These include face to face befriending, telephone befriending, befriended buddies, bereavement support, chaplaincy, exercise classes, social activities and events.


Care for the Family's aim is to strengthen and support family life. We provide relationship education and support in three key areas: marriage, parenting and bereavement. Activities include day and evening events, activity holidays and residential breaks, marriage and parenting courses, volunteer telephone befrienders, and books, DVDs and other resources to strengthen family life.

Dyffryn Clwyd Mission Area is a gathering of 12 church communities in the Diocese of St Asaph, sharing our faith through Worshiping God, Growing the Church and Loving the World.Worship is provided in the 12 churches, providing the opportunity to mark life events and the celebration of festivals. Grief to Grace provides specialist 5-day residential programmes of spiritual and psychological healing for those who have suffered sexual, physical or emotional emotional abuse in childhood or adolescence, including those abused by clergy or religious, or for those who have suffered violation as adults, as well as ongoing support, education and training in these areas.

The provision of chaplaincy, present in various workplaces including (but not limited to) educational establishments, retail, and transport hubs, providing support, a listening ear and help; carrying out, as a practical expression of religious beliefs, activities such as, for example, providing comfort to the bereaved; and promoting social cohesion.
