In 1988, Rob left his career as a senior partner in a successful law practice to found Care for the Family from a small office behind a hairdresser's in Cardiff. More than 35 years later, it has grown into one of the UK's leading family charities, running events and courses across the country with over 80 staff.
He was awarded an OBE in the Queen's New Year Honours list in 2012 for services to family life.
