Key Responsibilities • Plan and lead gatherings, youth groups, small groups and discipleship activities. • Organise trips, events and camps for young people. • Build relationships with young people both inside and outside the church. • Develop outreach opportunities, including schools, local groups and events. • Support young people in their spiritual growth and leadership development. • Work with church leaders and volunteers to recruit, train and support a youth and young adults’ team. • Complete all administrative tasks for the youth and young adult’s ministry. • Ensure all work with young people follows safeguarding and safety guidelines. Person Specification We are looking for someone who: • Has a strong personal relationship with Jesus. • Is passionate about discipling young people. • Has experience working with young people in church, school or community settings. • Can introduce new initiatives and ideas in line with current/future trends and good practice. • Has excellent communication skills with a flexible and friendly attitude with young people. • Has the ability to prioritise and make informed decisions. • Has exceptional organisational and leadership skills. • Can work well both independently and as part of a team. • Is willing to support the wider vision and ministry of the church.
