The Parochial Church Council of St Nicholas' Church in Burton-in-Wirral serves as a vital community hub, fostering both spiritual growth and charitable outreach. With its dedication to religious activities and support for various demographics, including children and the elderly, this organisation reflects the heart of Christian service. Underpinned by a clear governing framework that dates back to the 1950s, it exemplifies the longstanding traditions of church governance. Our mission
The purpose of the charity is promoting the whole mission of the Church. The church is open daily for private prayer and services are held on Sundays, Wednesdays and Christian Festivals, and family occasions. Services are also held in residential homes and the local sports club. The vicar is very involved with the village primary school. Members of the PCC organise fund raising social events.
