Church
The Lifehouse
The Lifehouse, also known as Portsmouth Vineyard Lifechurch, exemplifies a community dedicated to serving both the spiritual and physical needs of the public. With a strong emphasis on religious activities aimed at poverty alleviation, it serves a diverse array of people while firmly rooting itself in Christian teachings. As a church, it embodies Christ's love through various charitable initiatives and community engagement. The governing documents and objectives affirm its commitment to Christianity, making it a vital organisation for those seeking both faith-based support and practical service. Being part of the Vineyard movement indicates its dedication to fostering a Christ-centred community and addressing urgent social needs.
Our mission
Outward focused, family-sized christian church serving the homeless and vulnerable communities in Portsmouth & Southsea with a mandate to relieve poverty across the UK and overseas. We support Portsmouth Food Bank and Portsmouth Street Pastors, and have converted part of a former shop into community use as a homeless drop-in and soup kitchen.
