Small Steps Project Lead

Job outline: Small Steps is a valued community project run by Hope Vineyard Oxford from a shopping centre that is in the heart of the East-Oxford community. We are looking for the right person with a passion for supporting local families, and a desire to share Jesus in practical and creative ways to lead this project.

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership for Small Steps, overseeing its vision, sustainable growth, fundraising, partnerships, operations, finances, and impact reporting. There is a Small Steps Coordinator who is already employed, and helps run Small Steps and leads a growing team of volunteers. The Small Steps Lead will manage current staff and also volunteers, and develop relationships with schools, health providers, businesses, and community organisations.

The Small Steps Lead will be responsible for fostering a culture that honours Jesus, and values every person as made in God's image, which is why this post falls within the definition of an Occupational Requirement as per the Equality Act 2010. An Enhanced DBS check is required for appointment.

Part-time:

- Either 22.5 hours per week term-time only (0.6 WTE = 3 days p/w)

- or 18.75 hours per week (0.5 Whole Time Equivalent = 2.5 days p/w)
