Philadelphia Wesleyan Reform Church
The Philadelphia Wesleyan Reform Church stands as a beacon of faith and service within the Sheffield community. Originating from its foundation in 1965, this church not only serves the spiritual needs of its congregation but also engages in a variety of charitable activities aimed at supporting children, the elderly, and providing essential facilities. Its objectives align closely with Christian teachings, reflecting a commitment to loving one’s neighbour, thereby making it an integral part of both local and broader society. This blend of worship and service embodies the heart of the Christian mission, and as such, the church plays a pivotal role in uplifting those in need.
Our mission
We hold two religious services each Sunday, to which all are welcome, any age, disabled. We run a weekly mother and toddler group. We hold a fortnightly midweek act of worship and a fortnightly 'home produce' sale with refreshments - both these events for any age and any ethnic group. Coffee mornings are held on a Saturday. All the above are advertised on the church noticeboard.
