Energy Matters - Site Energy Lead (Station Road RHOW)
Redcar Baptist Church is looking for a compassionate, practical and people-focused individual to join our new Energy Matters project as a Site Energy Lead.
This exciting community role will help support individuals and families across Redcar & Cleveland who are struggling with energy costs and related hardship. The successful candidate will provide practical advice and support around energy bills, tariffs, debt, reducing energy use, referrals and next steps — helping people access meaningful support with dignity and care.
The role is based at Redcar House of Worship and forms part of a wider partnership with South Bank Baptist Church and Redcar Baptist Church.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Is warm, organised and approachable
- Can support people with empathy and clarity
- Is confident using everyday technology and admin systems
- Can work independently and follow tasks through
- Is a practising Christian with an active faith
This is a wonderful opportunity to join a team of people who genuinely want to make a difference in the local community, bringing practical support, hope and care to those who need it most.
