Coffee Shop Operations and Development Manager

This is a multi-site role across Redcar.

Common Ground is growing — and we’re looking for the right person to help lead the next chapter.

This is more than running a coffee shop. It’s about creating places of welcome, belonging and hope, while helping build a sustainable social enterprise that serves our town.

We’re looking for someone who can:

-Lead and develop coffee shop teams

-Support staff, interns and volunteers

-Oversee rotas, stock, suppliers and day-to-day operations

-Grow a culture of welcome, service and community

-Help develop Common Ground across more than one site

-You’ll need experience in hospitality, café, retail, catering or a similar operational setting — plus strong people skills, good organisation, and a heart for the mission and values of Redcar Baptist Church.

There is a genuine occupational requirement for the post-holder to be a practising Christian.
