Blackburn St Luke, St Mark & St Philips Parochial Church Council is a vibrant church community focused on fulfilling its spiritual mission. As a parochial church council, it serves the community by providing religious activities and services aimed at the general public, ensuring that the teachings of Christ are reflected in their outreach. The church actively promotes Christian values, embraces its denominational heritage, and aims to serve both church members and the wider community. Their guiding documents reinforce their explicit Christian foundation, underscoring their commitment to the gospel and church representation. It is a place where faith meets action, and believers are encouraged to grow in their spiritual journey while also reaching out in love to those around them.
Our mission
The PCC is made up of 13 members and its role is to work with the vicar to promote the mission of the church in the parish, to care to people, to spread Christ's gospel of Good News and co-operating with other churches especially in our newly formed cluster of neighbouring churches. It takes decision by vote.
