The eternal light is made of brass. The height of the light is 30 cm. The surface is smooth. A ruby red glass insert is included. The eternal light is a perpetual light in the synagogue and the Catholic Church. It serves as a symbol to remind us of the constant presence of God. The eternal light is a lamp that burns perpetually and indicates the location of the tabernacle in which the consecrated hosts are kept. In synagogues, the eternal light is located in front of the Torah shrine.
