Victor Torres stood at a crossroads. Looking for a purpose. One way took him back to a life of crime, gangs, violence, power and addiction. The other one led to life like no other.

But how did he get here?

Rewind to 1960s Brooklyn. Victor Torres and his family have moved to New York from Puerto Rico in the hope of starting again. But the American dream they Puerto Rico left in search of quickly disappeared as the promises of riches and security fail to materialise. The young Victor soon falls in with a gang of young immigrants, and starts bringing in suspiciously large amounts of money.

But soon, the drugs Victor made money trafficking soon took over his life. With his desperation pushing his life on the line, it soon becomes clear that this path will end soon for him.

But there is another way. A chance to claw back out of addiction.

Based on a trust story of one man’s addiction and a mother’s love, Victor is a powerful film in a similar vein to The Cross & The Switchblade.
