Dwight L. Moody (1837-1899) will forever be regarded as one of the modern world's most successful evangelists. Founder of Moody Publishing and Moody Bible Institute, D.L. Moody also traveled the United Kingdom and United States, hosting massive evangelistic campaigns in which hundreds of thousands came to Christ under the sound of his preaching.

Moody had an unrelenting passion to preach the gospel to those in need of a Savior and trained many others to do the same as well. The organizations he founded existed for the ultimate goal of raising up Christians who would boldly proclaim the gospel to the one and the masses alike, no matter the cost.
