This work makes the case that many Christians are at once understandably attracted to holistic medicine - which offers an integrated approach to spirituality and physical health - and discouraged from exploring these practices by the culture of the churches that they attend. The author contends that this has left many people torn between the New Age practices that are not grounded in biblical faith and church communities that are not responsive to the growing interest in integrative medicine. Through a series of meditations on the healing miracles of Jesus, this book sets out to offer what many Christians are after: an essentially Christian approach to holistic health practices.
