This second book of The Childlike Kingdom series takes a closer look at kingdom community, which is a Taste of the Kingdom. Some of its essential topics include life in the kingdom together—one of the greatest callings and greatest challenges; the theology and importance of place; the good, the bad, and the ugly of church and culture; and the secret sauce of community according to the Scriptures. The book also presents some fresh understandings of orthodoxy (essential belief) and orthopraxy (essential practice) in local kingdom communities. These understandings will lead to an appropriately “aged” and essential kingdom announcement: Kingdom community needs to be freshly understood, imaged, and experienced in “Jesus gatherings,” giving a taste of the kingdom in every zip code.
