Betty Murphy, a lifelong educator, describes herself as “the kind of person who locks the end of her coat in the door when she’s running late.” A native of Tennessee, she lives with her husband in a Bucks County, Pennsylvania townhouse, overlooking a beautiful park. She enjoys all things antique, quaint, scenic, and historic.

In her travels she discovered the beautiful vista on the book’s cover—a breathtaking view in the Canadian Rockies that moved her to tears. Betty describes Martha’s Prayer Book as “an entry level attempt to have a relationship with God.”
