Multiple blocs jockey for advantage.

Aging scientist and failed spy Kenelm "Kenny" Ringstead is

commissioned by shadowy Professor Agwell to perform

a geochemical survey in the Cheviot Hills,

on the Anglo-Scottish border.

As he arrives his work is betrayed by an unhating but
