Saint Rita is known as the "Saint of the Impossible" because of the difficult things she faced in life while maintaining her deep faith in God-despite all obstacles.

Numerous miracles encircled her life from birth to death. She is the patroness of those experiencing and recovering from abuse, grief over the loss of children, difficulty in marital relationships, suffering and illness.

She was a model of faith, love, and peacemaking.
