Within this 13-lesson study, I first examine the tenets of John Calvin, whose theology continues to influence denominational beliefs to this day. (i.e., "Original Sin," and "Once Saved, Always Saved"). With Calvinism as a backdrop, the book turns to a study of a denomination that holds to most, if not all, of these tenets, the Presbyterian Church. These tenets have led this group to question Scripture's inerrancy and authority, which, in turn, has led to changes in their worship protocol. Changes in the observance of the Lord's Supper, the necessity and method of baptism, and the acceptance of women into their ministry, to name a few.

Paul told Timothy, "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17). The importance of accepting this passage is becoming a challenge for many today, and this book reveals that the Presbyterian Church has failed in this challenge.
