Messy Church Does Science follows its title to the letter. Using the format of Messy Church lessons, these fun science experiments are great for illustrating not only lessons from the Bible, but also valuable life lessons and a love of Science and learning.

These fun experiment cover all sorts of topics in biology, chemistry, and physics. They teach all about how light works, human and plant life-cycles, what energy is, and more!

Following the heart of 'hospitality, creativity, and celebration', Messy Church Does Science has a heart to pass on a passion for all things scientific, and show the wonders of God's creation. They are designed to bring families and groups together on little journeys of discovery.

Each lesson is broken down into:

• Theme - the central topic of each science session that sums up what the experiment is about
• Equipment needed
• Before you begin - walking you through everything you need to do for the lesson to go off without a hitch
• Experiment method - here it lays out, step-by-step, everything that goes into performing the experiment, prep, directions, and results
• Big Thinking - these are the questions inspired by the experiment you can ask to the families, to get them discussing and answering about how the experiment worked
• Big questions - these are the lesson questions that apply the experiment to everyday life, and help families to grow together, and learn valuable life lessons
