In this accessible and challenging work, Leonard Doohan explores the vital role of the laity in the life of the church today. Moving beyond the idea that ministry is reserved only for clergy, this book encourages every believer to recognise their unique calling and gifts. Doohan provides a clear framework for understanding the theology of the laity, grounding these concepts in the practical realities of parish life. Whether you are looking to become more involved in your local community or simply wish to understand your place in the wider mission of the church, this book offers a clear, encouraging path forward. By unpacking the biblical foundation of shared ministry, the author invites you to take ownership of your faith and discover new ways to serve in your local church setting. This is an essential resource for those seeking to set a new, more inclusive direction for their own congregation’s future.
