Michael J. Kruger (PhD, Edinburgh) is the Samuel C. Patterson Chancellor's Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at Reformed Theological Seminary and one of the leading scholars today on the origins and development of the New Testament canon. He is an award-winning author of more than fourteen books, most recently Miniature Codices in Early Christianity (Oxford).

Beyond his work at Reformed Theological Seminary, Dr. Kruger has served as president of the Evangelical Theological Society (2019), the largest society of evangelical scholars in the world, where he was also the cofounder of the New Testament Canon, Textual Criticism, and Apocryphal Literature study section. In addition, he has served on the editorial board of the Journal of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Bulletin for Biblical Research.

He is also a member of the Society of Biblical Literature, the Institute for Biblical Research, the American Academy of Religion, and the Society for New Testament Studies (Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas). During his 2009–2010 research sabbatical, he was a visiting scholar at St. Edmund's College and Tyndale House at Cambridge University, England. Recently he was selected to be one of the inaugural fellows for the Keller Center for Cultural Apologetics.

Melissa Kruger serves as vice president of discipleship programming for The Gospel Coalition (TGC). She is the author of multiple books, including The Envy of Eve: Finding Contentment in a Covetous World and Growing Together: Taking Mentoring Beyond Small Talk and Prayer Requests, as well as children's titles such as Lucy and the Saturday Surprise, His Grace Is Enough, and Wherever You Go, I Want You to Know. Her recent works include Parenting with Hope: Raising Teens for Christ in a Secular Age and The Good News Family Devotional: 52 Weeks Through the Gospel of Mark. She also cohosts The Deep Dish podcast, where she combines her love of pizza with her passion for meaningful conversation. She and her husband, Mike, have three adult children.
