The word ‘orthodoxy’ can conjure up ideas of control, of ticking boxes of correct belief and authoritarian dominance. This book offers a tantalizingly different vision, suggesting that ‘generosity’ and 'orthodoxy’ are not in competition with each other, but rather that it is in the very nature of orthodoxy to be generative of creative thinking and exploration.
