Mission & Sharing Faith

If you're looking for an introduction to mission or evangelism, then What is the Mission of the Church? by Kevin DeYoung & Greg Gilbert is a great place to begin. They define th Great Commission as the purpose of the Church, both locally and globally. If you're interested in what this looks like in relation to the spread of global Christianity, then Let the Nations Be Glad by John Piper is a brilliant resource in which he encourages to go out intentionally to spread our message of hope and joy. And if you're considering the mission field, Mission Affirmed by Elliot Clark shows how you can assess a sense of calling, how to have that confirmed, and how to prepare for a time - or lifetime - of full-time service.
