If we're being honest, this is a difficult category, and perhaps something most of us struggle with. Thankfully, there are lots of great books to help us understand and apply God's wisdom to our own particular circumstances. Our first recommendation here is Relationships A Mess Worth Making by Tripp & Lane. This books works on the premise that where sinners relate to each other there will always be dificulties, and often a lot of mess, but that this is a mess worth making! They offer lots of wonderful insights and strategies to overcome difficulties in all kinds of relationships, and provides a great foundation on which to build all future relationships. Our second book is for those in need of pointed help in resolving conflict in relationships. Resolving Conflict by Lou Priolo shows us a "posture for life" and how to resolve conflict as we encounter it. Our top recommendation in this category is Forgive by Timothy Keller. In this book Keller critiques the modern slide into intolerance and cancel-culture, instead promoting forgiveness as a way of life. In a most challenging but engaging way, Keller shows us that forgiveness lies at the heart of the Gospel and when practiced by Christians, eliminates bitterness, offers a framework for healing, and ultimately affords opportunities for restoration.
